Trail to blaze through the wild blue yonder of God's amazing grace (CD: Great Adventure)

This is an absolutely amazing music of gospel and rock singer Steven Curtis Chapman. I first heard the song "The Great Adventure," on a children show called "Kids like you," on faith television and became an instant fan of his music. Chapman has rendered all his songs with a strong crisp voice that is perfected for rock-and-roll and gospel music. There's something about his voice that helps to define gospel music; a deep voice and great heart. He's got range, passion and resonance with an excellent accompaniment by Paul Leim on drums.

"The Great Adventure" refers in part to 1 Cor. 2:9, 10 and Eph 2:4-10. Other song of the CD includes "Where we belong," (Rom. 5:17; Eph. 2:10; Col. 1:16); "Go there with you," (Eph. 5:25-31); "That's paradise," (Luke 23:43; John 14: 2-3 and Rom. 8:18.) and "Don't let the fire die," (Hebrew 12:2,3; 1 Thess. 5:19) are some the best songs on this CD.

Chapman is known to be a prolific singer in contemporary Christian music with more than 20 albums, five Grammy awards, and several Gospel Music Association Dove Awards. He is involved in many charitable activities that include; adoption of orphans, youth violence prevention efforts, and Children's Hunger Fund. Steven Curtis Chapman is not only a great artist but also a humanitarian.
